I love Rosa's writing, humor, attention to detail, references to Carl Barks, and plots that are sometimes almost cinematic. He's probably the best writer on the list, but his art, though I enjoy it very much, is inferior to both Rota's and Barks's. I might would even say that Scarpa's art is better than Rosa's, but that's a tough call. Ultimately, all four are great artists, but I would say that Marco Rota is best.
Hm... Based solely on art, I think I'm going to have to go with Marco Rota! He can draw really well. I think From Egg to Duck best showcases his artistic talents.
Very neat drawing! Good work!
Is the consensus that we should sent out an announcement about image names soon, or do we still need to discuss that aspect of this conversation?
I've renamed a few. Are the new image names good with everyone? If so, I'll continue with the renaming.
I'll be happy to help out with renaming images.
Greatest as in "my personal favorite", or greatest as in "Scrooge's biggest threat"?
@Fireblade696 , I'll repeat what I believe I've already said. If you really want to see a change, message Scrooge MacDuck personally. Talking behind his back and bad-mouthing him (or anyone, for that matter) is the most unproductive thing you can do. Continual disrespect towards the administrators on this site will eventually lead to you getting banned. I am not saying that you have agree with everything we do, but I ask that you at least be courteous enough to talk directly to us about your problems instead of insulting one of the Scrooge McDuck Wiki's longest-serving administrators behind his back. If you think he should loosen up on his enforcement of Rule Six, tell him that and stop using this wiki's Discuss to create strife and contention.
Scrooge MacDuck is one of the Scrooge McDuck Wiki's admins and bureaucrats. The "rule six" referenced can be found in the guidelines for this wiki's Discuss. It currently reads as thus, "For the love of Walt, use proper spelling and capitalization. In other words, "yu r not allowd to spel like ths". Never, not in a million years. If an admin calls you out on this and you do not correct your post, this may result in blocks, as it would be considered spamming and thus fall under Rule 4." Rule 4 currently reads, "Voluntary spamming, trolling, or vandalizing of any kind is of course forbidden and will be deleted. A post whose sole purpose is asking for upvotes is considered 'trolling'."
If you have any issues with the rules or with Scrooge MacDuck's conduct in his capacity as an administrator and bureaucrat, please message him civilly. Calling someone a jerk really isn't the definition of civil and polite. If the post-locking bugs you so much, I'd recommend civilly and politely messaging Scrooge MacDuck, taking the issue directly to him instead of complaining, name-calling, and lobbing personal attacks and insults.
I don't think so personally. LOTTC seems to be more in the style of the 1987 version of DuckTales. See, for example, the fact that LOTTC's version of Scrooge looks a lot like DT87's version. Also, the Three Caballeros was Donald's college band in DT17, whereas they are a team of heroic adventurers in LOTTC, which doesn't seem to portray a college-aged Donald.
Great! Welcome to the Scrooge McDuck Wiki!
Thanks for responding. I don't know much about either the classics or the new stuff, but I'll definitely help here and there when I can!
Just checked out your wiki. Looks neat. I'll definitely keep looking through it. Is the focus of it supposed to be on the original Oswaldverse, or is it more so focused on the modern fan reboot?
Here's a non-Pinterest link. I got Donald Duck! That said, I'm not sure I answered everything accurately. Some of the questions had several answers I would have been fine with choosing.
Since we are presumably talking about the 2017 Continuum, I'd have to go with Glomgold hands down. In the episodes I've seen, he's a very funny character who probably gets bigger laughs out of me than any other DuckTales 2017 character. He also has an interesting backstory that highlights both his pettiness and his determination.
Thanks for the answer! It's a tough pick for me. I think I'll go with "Scrooge+Goldie" though, since we haven't actually seen the 2017 Continuum version of Daisy yet (at least I haven't, but I am behind several episodes).
Is this poll for the Prime Universe or 2017 Continuum versions?
