Fanwork A “Grave” New Look is a live-action/puppet webcast created by Nick Barbera. The fifth episode of Season 1 of the unlicensed The Haunted Mansion Show, it stars the Ghost Host and also mentions Jack Skellington and Nick Barbera.

Broadcasting from the home of the human fan who has kindly allowed him to borrow his webcam, the Ghost Host reveals the appearance he will take from now on in his appearances on the Show, one similar (though not identical) to his skeletal corpse in the Stretching Room.

  • The Ghost Host's skeletal form is reduced to just a torso for the moment, as he had a "bit of an accident" when cutting himself off the rafters last time and accidentally split himself in half. He is seen discarding one of his severed skeletal legs.

Behind the scenesEdit

A “Grave” New Look was the fifth episode of Season 1 of The Haunted Mansion Show. It was released on YouTube on Nick Barbera's own YouTube channel like the rest of Season 1.

It was the first appearance of the Ghost Host puppet that later became the default for the series in Season 2, although within Season 1, this was not the last of a live Ghost Host played in the flesh by Barbera. The episode also provides a justification for any time that Barbera, in his role as puppeteer, is accidentally glimpsed on-frame, as it establishes that a version of him exists in-universe and is the owner of the webcam that the Host uses to create the Haunted Mansion Show.
