Donald Duck, who is mountain-climbing, comes face-to-face with a large mountain goat. Surprised that the animal flees before him instead of attacking, Donald decides to have some fun with it and chase the poor creature to its den. Unfortunately, once there, he finds not all goats are that passive.

This story was first printed in February of 1938 in various American newspapers. It was later reprinted in Mickey Mouse Magazine #60, Marcia Blitz's Donald Duck #1, Donald Duck Adventures #4 (under the title Escape Goat, a pun on "scapegoat"), Donald Duck #284, and Donald Duck: The Complete Daily Newspaper Comics #1.
