A Slight Misunderstanding is a comic strip written and drawn by Aristide Twain. It features, in their debuts, the Triangular Society (presumably including Larrikin-1029, Conspiracy-1263, Robespierre-1665 and Gaius-816) and its leader Conquest-932.
Description
A secret society within the Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids meets for the very first time — and it seems its leader needs to clarify a few points…
Continuity
- The Triangular Society reappears in two further comic strips — Suspicious (2019) and Professional Endorsement (2019) — as well as in the prose story The Trial of a Dark Lord (2020), which reveals the identities of the other members than Conquest and depicts the destruction of the building in which A Slight Misunderstanding is set, revealed to be Conquest's shed.
- In light of the identities revealed in that story, the Cupid who asks about apple-bobbing, being a Mark 17, is presumably Robespierre-1665, while the Cupid rightmost in the second panel is identifiable as Larrikin-1029. With Conspiracy-1263 being visualized differently in Cupid Courier No. 1034 (2019), this leaves the remaining visible Cupid in A Slight Misunderstanding as Gaius-815.
Behind the scenes
This comic strip, the eighth regular comic-strip to feature the Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids, was released on the Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids website.
The comic uses a red variant of the The Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids logo.
