Alice's Day at Sea is a theatrical cartoon short directed by Walt Disney. It features Alice.
Plot[]
Alice spends her day on the beach with her pet dog. After an old salt tells her a tale of a giant squid sinking his old ship, she falls asleep and dreams of sinking to the bottom of the ocean where she meets a colorful cast of cartoony fish, such as a family of literal "cat-fish", a threatening octopus, and a hungry giant herring.
Behind the scenes[]
This cartoon short was released in 1925 as a silent film and later re-released with sound. It is the first short in the Alice Comedies series (second if one chooses to count Alice's Wonderland).
