Amador Guerrero is or was a man of unknown species.

In 1909, Amador Guerrero was the President of Panama. When Theodore Roosevelt visited the site of the digging of the Panama Canal, General Esteban assured the American potentate that Guerrero was "honored" of Roosevelt's visit to Panama. The ever-canny Roosevelt answered with a question of whether Esteban himself shared the friendly sentiment.

Behind the scenesEdit

The historical President Guerrero.

Stevens makes a brief appearance in the 2001 The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck bonus chapter The Sharpie of the Culebra Cut. He is based on the historical figure of President Manuel Amador Guerrero, who was indeed the first president of independent Panama and on good terms with President Roosevelt.
