Beaks in the Shell is the nineteenth episode of Season 3 of DuckTales 2017. Written by Ben Siemon, in addition to the rest of the usual DT17 writers' room, it was directed by Jason Zurek. It features Huey Duck, Louie Duck, Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera, Gandra Dee, Gyro Gearloose, Officer Cabrera, Manny, Bradford Buzzard, Mark Beaks, Li'l Bulb, and the Eggheads.

Summary

Fenton's suspicious behavior leads to the discovery that he is in a secret relationship-both romantic and scientific-with Gandra Dee, the two of them collaborating to create the Gizmocloud virtual testing system. Huey attempts to help them continue to conceal this, but it isn't long before Fenton's secret is out as usual. However, the star-crossed couple and Fenton's friends and family have bigger problems, as Mark Beaks is eager to settle the score once and for all.
