Bear Mountain or Mt. Bear is a mountain near Duckburg.
Description[]
Bear Mountain is a mountain located near Duckburg, Calisota, U.S.A. Its name is not a misnomer; the mountain is indeed inhabited by several bears. In 1947, Scrooge McDuck owned a cabin on it and let his nephews, Donald, Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck, stay there that Christmas so he could test Donald's bravery.
Behind the scenes[]
Bear Mountain first appeared in the story that bears it name, Christmas on Bear Mountain. Though it has also reappeared in several later stories, mostly christmas-centered ones . These include Crazy Christmas on Bear Mountain (1987), When Xmas Went Crackers (1991), Christmas Magic (2003), and Back to Bear Mountain (2017).
