Big Trouble at Little Lake is a comic story written by Joe Caramagna, penciled by Andrea Greppi and Paolo Campinoti, and inked by Roberta Zanotta. It takes place in the 2017 Continuum, featuring Donald Duck, Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck, and, in his debut, Doctor Ruffalo.
Description[]
Donald Duck has become a boat-steering tour guide on Little Lake, the world's widest, yet shallowest, lake, home to over 230 species of sponges. Things are mostly going well, even if Huey, Dewey and Louie are finding their Unca Donald a little overprotective as of late. But a tourist who thinks he knows more about the Lake than Donald soon becomes the proverbial grain of sands that devolves the entire venture into chaos…
Continuity[]
- The story takes place prior to Woo-oo! (2017) in the serie's chronology.
Behind the scenes[]
This story was first published in July of 2017 in IDW's DuckTales #0.
Doctor Ruffalo's love of puns has been jokingly suggested to be a homage to the Disney comics translator and blogger Joe Torcivia.
