The Black Mobile is a custom car belonging to the Phantom Blot.
Description[]
A customized limousine capable of attaining great speeds and of braking incredibly quickly, the Phantom Blot's car, which has seen minor alterations many times, is one of his great assets when trying to get out of a tight spot, as well as corresponding to his general theme by virtue of being painted a solid black colour except for its headlights, giving it the appearance of a great moving blot of ink.
Behind the scenes[]
The Phantom Blot's unique car first appeared in 1939 alongside the Blot himself in Mickey Mouse Outwits the Phantom Blot. In the winter of 2003, the Italian Topolino offered the parts of a toy version of the “Black Mobile”, to be put together by subscribers to the digest.
In Mickey and the Color Caper, a different unique design for the Blot's car appears, with a front making it resemble a fountain pen and gray bodywork instead of solid black.
