Description[]
A cannonball manufactured by Bridgeport Cannon Works, and emblazoned with their name, was used in 1942 by Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck during the voyage to Morgan's Island aboard the Black Mariah to knock out Peg-Leg Pete as he prepared to stab Donald Duck and Yellow Beak to death with a knife.

Bridgeport Cannon Works' name appears in the 1942 story Donald Duck Finds Pirate Gold.
Despite its realistic, not-overtly-comedic name, the company is, by all accounts, fictional.
