The suave, dapper Buck Beaver is the very type of the snake oil salesman… with a twist: rather than useless tainted water, the elixirs he sells are genuinely efficient. That being said, they are more home-brewed experiments than genuine medicine, and the results can be unpredictable, meaning Beaver's silver tongue is still more the source of his profit than the medicine is. Beaver's most successful invention was probably the "vanishing cream" he'd devised, a balm that could turn its wearer invisible for a while.
