While they were vying for possession of the Golden Calf of Latte, the mad scientist Doctor Quackmire Quantum told Scrooge McDuck that he needed it because he believed the secrets it held were the final missing piece that would allow him to complete his Caffeine Bomb. He was, however, unaware of the exact nature of the secret.
