Cagliostro was a human man.

An eccentric and mysterious character from 18th century France, Cagliostro was a master illusionist who grew rich on his talents as an occultist and magician. Among other things, he gained position of a set of golden rings which he hid in his castle behind a riddle (they were later located by Phantomius in the early 20th century).

Behind the scenesEdit

Cagliostro is mentioned, and a statue of him glimpsed, in the 1957 story Mickey Mouse in Magic Land. He is again heavily mentioned in the 2015 tale The Rings of Cagliostro.

Alessandro Cagliostro was a genuine historical figure, an occultist from the 18th century who remained famous up till the modern day.
