Description[]
The Caliphate was a prosperous nation with a large and bountiful port. Ruled (for some reason) by a sultan, Scrooge Al-Duck, it was only threatened by the force that were the Bey A'Ghel Pirates; Sultan Scrooge Al-Duck was on good terms with at least one foreign lord, Al-Ghander. Sinbad Duck and Deysi, distant ancestors of Donald Duck, came from the Caliphate.
Behind the scenes[]
The Caliphate is a major location in the 1985 story The Adventures of Sinbad Duck. It is not entirely clear if it is a fictional nation, or if "the Caliphate" is simply the citizens' way of referring to any given Caliphate which actually existed at some point or other in History.
