Captain Retro-Duck… er, um, “Retros” Again! is a Fluffy and Mervin comic story by Debbie Anne Perry. Besides the regular of the non-Disney series, namely Debbie, Fluffy and Mervin, the comic featured a cameo appearance by Captain Retro-Duck, approved by Joe Torcivia.
Plot[]
Debbie's reading of an issue of Captain Retro-Duck is disturbed by the noises of the "trashy" television her wards Fluffy and Mervin are watching. Going over to scold them, she discovers that in their case, “trashy” is much more literal than expected.
Behind the scenes[]
This comic was released in July of 2015 as the 235th comic on the Fluffy and Mervin website.
It was also rereleased, with added commentary, on Joe Torcivia's The Issue At Hand, where it gained its makeshift title under the pen of Torvicia, who confirmed that the use of his Disney Comics creation Captain Retro-Duck had been with his full knowledge and approval. This was not the only time Perry created new comic art featuring Retro-Duck.
