Castle Duckesque was the ancestral castle of the Duckesques.

Description

A looming and sinister fortress, Castle Duckesque was built towards the end of his life by the first Count Duckesque to house both him and his treasure (including the famed Duckesque Talisman). The Castle was reputed impregnable, and the Count, in his will, stated that his heirs could only access the family fortune hidden within if the Castle was ever destroyed by enemy invaders. Against all hope, this finally happened in 1986 thanks to marauding American Beagle Boys' unwitting help; for the medieval architects, naturally enough, hadn't counted on dynamite. The castle was obliterated in the blast, which unearthed the treasure and Talisman.

Behind the scenes

The Castle was the main location of the 1986 story Donald Duck and the Adventure in Transylvania.
