NonDisney Champignac-en-Cambrousse, or simply Champignac is a quaint rural village, believed to be located in France.

Staunchly resisting any attempts from the rest of the world at modernization, Champignac-en-Cambrousse is the archetype of the quaint French rural village, complete with colorful locals such as the spoonerism-prone mayor Gustave Labarbe or the eccentric gentleman-inventor Count Pacôme de Champignac. It serves as a sort of second home to Spirou and Fantasio due to their friendship with the Count.

Behind the scenesEdit

Champignac was created alongside the eponymous Count in the 1950 Spirou comic story There's A Sorcerer in Champignac.
