Cupid Babies is a comic story written and drawn by Aristide Twain. It features child versions of a Green Gorilla, Thymon and Li'l Thymon, a Retconning Crocodile and the Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids themselves.
Plot[]
What if the Cupid cast were aged down into highly marketable baby forms?
Continuity[]
- The baby Retconning Crocodile sits by what is labelled a “red fish-egg”, in reference to the Red Herring wielded by the adult Crocodiles in The Frost King's Treasure (2019).
- Li'l Thymon, from A Copper-Colored Christmas Carol (2019), makes a repeat appearance.
- The box of cogs used to build the first few Clockwork Cherubs is shown to have been “Property of the Horde of the…", cut off by a “Sold” sign. The Horde were shown to be in the business of creating robots in Mickey Mouse and the Shadow of the Colossus (2005), with the idea that the Horde are connected to the genesis of the Cupids tying in with Hare-Brained Hooligans (2018).
Behind the scenes[]
Cupid Babies was released on May the 22nd, 2020 on the Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids website. It was the 25th Cupid comic strip of the regular series, hence its status as an “event” story.
