The Daily Dirge is a newspaper published in Duckburg.

Description & HistoryEdit

The Daily Dirge is a local Duckburg newspaper read (among others) by Gyro Gearloose. In 1963, one of its issues reported on the City of Duckburg's wish to hire "daredevil painters" to repaint Narrows Bridge, which caught the eye of a Gyro who was, at the time, eager to test a new invention of his.

Behind the scenesEdit

The Daily Dirge appears briefly in the 1963 Carl Barks story A Helper's Helping Hand.
