Description[]
The level-headed Debbie is the guardian of the chaotic cat-and-mouse pair Fluffy and Mervin, and, as it happens, a Captain Retro-Duck fan, a taste in comics-lit shared with Donald Duck.
Mervin was often spotted using Debbie's phone to spam the blog of Joe Torcivia with aliases such as "the Legion of the Chartreuse Tortoise", "the Passel of Pastel Ponies" or "the Assemblage of Absent-Minded Editors", in the vein of the other, wider Strangely-Coloured Secret Societies often seen lurking around Torcivia's blog. This usually results in Mervin's phone privileges being temporarily revoked by Debbie.
Behind the Scenes[]
Debbie appears in the non-Disney webcomic Fluffy and Mervin by Debbie Anne Perry. The comic as a whole is not intended to take place in the Prime Universe and is not covered on this Wiki, but it has crossed over with Disney Comics lore on several occasions, largely thanks to the real-life acquaintance between Perry (for whom the in-universe Debbie is a transparent fictional counterpart) and Joe Torcivia.
