Del G. Connell (June 7, 1918-August 12, 2011) was a Disney comics author perhaps most noted for creating Goofy's alter ego, Super Goof.[1]
Career[]
Del Connell started at Walt Disney Studios in 1939 as a character model and storyboard artist, working on Dumbo, Fantasia, and The Reluctant Dragon. His work was interrupted in 1941 when he began to serve in World War II. After his return, he would continue to work in animation and, beginning in 1954[2], work on comic stories.[1]
