Doctor Strangeduck one of the new characters created as potential players in the Justice Ducks cartoon, which was, in the end, cancelled.[1]
There is some debate on whether the character was meant to be the same character as Dr Ludwing von Strangeduck, who had appeared in a DuckTales episode, or if the identical names were a coincidence. In fact, it is even possible that the Justice Ducks Strangeduck would have been a woman rather than a man, though the character's obvious nature as a parody of Marvel's Doctor Strange makes the male option the most likely.
