Description[]
A genius biologist for Duckburg, jovial and mild-mannered Dr Superthink was hired in 1953 by Scrooge McDuck to create an artificial monster resembling a will-o-the-wisp, which Scrooge pictured as "horrible, slithering something carrying a lantern". With the help of Donald Duck and his nephews, Superthink succeeded in creating such a creature, through splicing mold spores with extracts of marsh gas and growing the result inside a vacuum. The wisp, however, turned out to be a friendly creature fond of eating mold and tule roots, whom the Ducks dubbed Wispy Willie and befriended.
