Donalds Nephews is a newspaper strip from 1937. It features Donald Duck and in their debut, Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck. Della Duck and Mr Duck are mentioned. This page also starts an arc that lasts for the next 5 pages, of Donald dealing with his nephews.
Plot[]
Donald Duck gets a letter from his cousin, Della, informing him that his nephews, Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck, are coming to visit him as their father is in the hospital thanks to a firecracker which exploded under his chair. When Donald opens the door, the handle's been electrocuted. When he goes back inside, there's a bucket of water over the door, and the nephews make their appearance.

This newspaper strip is the debut of Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck as well as the first mention of Della Duck and Mr Duck. It was written by Ted Osborne and drawn by Al Taliaferro. It was first printed in newspapers on October the 17th, 1937.
The following year, a short animated cartoon was released, based on the same concept.[1]
