Donald Duck and His Friends is an audio story (whose writer is unknown) based around a collection of American folk song, featuring Donald Duck, Jiminy Cricket, Mickey Mouse, Daisy Duck, Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck, Chip and Dale, Scrooge McDuck and the Beagle Boys.
Plot[]
There's a party at Donald Duck's house, where several of his friends were invited. Jiminy Cricket is the host of the party and leads the other to sing various songs — though Donald always threatens to ruin the fun with his temper. The party is also interrupted by a surprise appearance by Scrooge McDuck, who ropes Donald into a hair-brained scheme to put his money on the Moon away from the Beagle Boys' reach.
Continuity[]
- Scrooge McDuck would again try to keep his money safe from the Beagle Boys by sending it into space aboard a rocket in Uncle Scrooge's Money Rocket (1960), released that same year.
Behind the scenes[]
This record was released in 1960 through Disneyland Records.
