Donald Duck and the Adventure in Transylvania (titled Paperino e l'Avventura in Transilvania in the original Italian) is a comic story written by Claudia Salvatori and drawn by Massimo De Vita. It Donald Duck, Scrooge McDuck, the Beagle Boys, Magica De Spell, and, in their debut, the first Count Duckesque, his current heir, said heir's menacing butler, the Horde of Thieves, the Wicked Witch, the Transylvanian Beagle Boys and Scrooge's Bat.
Donald Duck is dispatched by Scrooge McDuck to Transylvania to weasel a witch- and thieves-finding secret out of a relative of the Clan McDuck, Count Duckesque. However, between the Count's sharp teeth, his dusty and ominous castle, and the menacing and monster-like butler, Donald soon becomes convinced that Duckesque is actually a vampire out for his blood… Meanwhile, the Beagle Boys and Magica De Spell are hot on the duck's heels, intent on finding the legendary lost treasure of the Duckesques and preventing Donald from obtaining the also-legendary defence mechanism sought by Scrooge!
