Donald Duck at the Toy Store is an illustrated text story. It features Donald Duck, Huey, Dewey, and Louie, and the Toy Store Owner.

Description Edit

When Huey, Dewey, and Louie are bored with their old toys, Donald takes them to the toy store to pick out a few new ones. But the toy store trip ends in chaos after Donald insists on "testing" each toy himself before he allows his nephews to purchase them.

Behind the scenes Edit

Donald Duck at the Toy Store was published as book #7 of the Disney Easy Readers series in 1988. It was written by Joan Phillips and illustrated by Willy Ito, Claudia Mielnik, and Roy Wilson.

The alternate cover.

An alternate version of the book's cover, featuring the Golden Easy Reader seal rather than the Disney Easy Reader seal, is known to exist, although this is likely just a cover variant rather than a reprint.

The story features the common mistake of Huey, Dewey, and Louie addressing Donald as "Uncle", rather than "Unca".
