Doofus Drake is a young anthropomorphic duck.

Description

The fat and rather clumsy boy called Doofus Drake is a well-respected Junior Woodchuck as well as a friend of Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck. Doofus has a strong moral vibe, but is, on the other end, rather dim-witted, and unconditionally admires Launchpad McQuack as a hero in spite of Launchpad's incessant blunders. Doofus seems to have a crush on Webby Vanderquack; when Scrooge McDuck visited the future universe that would result from Magica De Spell getting his lucky dime, he discovered that in this future, Webby and Doofus were happily married.

Behind the scenes

Doofus Drake first appeared in September of 1987 in Where No Duck Has Gone Before, an episode of DuckTales. He might be a distant relative of Sir Francis Drake, although that is unconfirmed.
