Double Trouble is a 1956 comic story the features Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Peg-Leg Pete, Zeke Pete, Bossy, Oatmeal, and Lonestar.
Plot[]
Mickey Mouse is the sheriff of a quaint, unnamed town that is threatened by the robber Black Pete. In response, Mickey deputizes Goofy, and the two plan to stop Pete in his heist of the local bank. Thanks to Goofy's incompetence, they initially fail but determine not to give up. They split up and search the desert for Pete, where they will find not one but two Petes...

- Mickey Mouse is the sheriff of a small town somewhere close to Cactus Point.
- Goofy refuses to carry guns, as he believes they are "too blamed noisy", though he does later shoot guns at his own feet to teach himself how to dance, something he did not know how to do previously. He also believes that shoeing a horse is cruelty.
- Peg-Leg Pete has a twin brother named Zeke Pete, who is also a thief.
- Mickey has a horse named Lonestar, Goofy has a cow named Bossy, and Zeke has a horse named Oatmeal.
