The Drove of the Database-Compiling Dromedaries is a secret organization made up of dromedaries.

Description

One of the many knockoffs of the Horde of the Violet Hare, the Drove of the Database-Compiling Dromedaries dedicated to documenting all other Hare-knockoff societies (they also, like all other Hare knockoffs, presumably want to search for Atlantean treasure). After noting the sheer amount of secret societies which had revealed themselves on the blog of Joe Torcivia, and which they now had to document, the Dromedaries expressed dismay, wishing that they could get a break and noting that the "Band of the Bookkeeping Bactrians" never have to put up with such things. [1]

The Drove is in possession of an enormous research facility, which was once owned by the Horde of the Violet Hare, and left in the possession of the Drove after the Horde cut their documentation department due to budgeting reasons. In the facility, the Drove keep captive members of many other Horde-knockoff societies for study.

In 2019, the Drove captured Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids member Pessimist-242, however, Pessimist used his technological abilities to free every captive in the facility's Research Laboratory 6. Research Laboratory 6 was subsequently destroyed by a Fog Ship.

Behind the scenes

The Drove is yet another parody of the Horde of the Violet Hare created by an anonymous reader in the comments section of a post of Joe Torcivia's The Issue At Hand, in continuation of the running gag existing on that blog in which various knockoffs of the Horde comment on Torcivia's posts.
