DuckTales Backpacks was first printed in 1988 on the side panels of Donald Duck Orange Juice. It tied in with advertising for a "DuckTales Backpack". There were several other such tie-ins printed on the orange juice bottles, including DuckTales Watch, DuckTales Surfboard and A Balanced DuckTales Breakfast.
