Ducktor Who is an unofficial wordless cartoon written and drawn by Don Rosa. It features Scrooge McDuck, who is seen wearing the clothes of the Eleventh Doctor.
Description[]
Scrooge McDuck (dressed as the Doctor) emerges from the TARDIS in 1896, startling his younger self who's just found the Goose Egg Nugget.
Behind the scenes[]
This unofficial cartoon was released by Don Rosa in 2015 through his Facebook page, and prints of it sold at conventions. It is, of course, a homage to the long-running science-fiction TV show, Doctor Who. It is a follow-up to Don Rosa's earlier, less-detailed cartoon Tardis for Sale, and appears to take place before.
Amusingly, David Tennant, well-known for portraying said show's main character, ended up voicing Scrooge McDuck a few years later in DuckTales 2017, prompting fans to nickname that version of Scrooge "Ducktor Who", which has also been retroactively been made the title of this cartoon.
