Dust Bowls were inscribed ceramic bowls used by the Itsa Fakan civilization.
Description[]
Dust Bowls were small urns in which the Driers put the dried remains of the people of Itsa Faka who were dehydrated alive via Radium Vapor with the intention of later being revived using the Solution. The Bowls lined the walls of a crypt beneath the Royal Palace and each was inscribed with the identity of the people contained within (sometimes several per Bowl) and the circumstances which had led to their choosing to dry themselves. The Radium Vapor itself was also kept in sealed bowls of a similar make.
Behind the scenes[]
The Dust Bowls appear in the 1950 Carl Barks story In Ancient Persia.
