Epic Mickey is a video game from the Prime Universe, a loose counterpart to Epic Mickey as it exists in the real world.
Description[]
As advertised in a magazine read by the Ghost Host in October 2009, Epic Mickey concerned the adventures of Mickey Mouse in Wasteland, a world created by Yen Sid. This much matches up to real events, but the game also contained several visuals not encountered by Mickey during his real Wasteland adventures, and had, as its ultimate antagonist, not the huge and demon-like Blot, but a simultaneously much more humanoid and much more terrifying figure known as the Phantom Blot, though it bore little resemblance to the human criminal of the same name. The game was, strangely, actually made before most of the events that inspired it actually took place.
Behind the scenes[]
This version of Epic Mickey is mentioned in the 2009 unlicensed webcast “Epic” Proportions.
The various discrepancies between this game and the real-life Epic Mickey are for the most part unintentional, actually resulting from the write making his best guesses as to what the game would be like based on early material.
