The Fakir was a human man.
The enigmatic, sallow-skinned, sweet-voiced Fakir was one of the Forty Thieves of Agrabah, known for using his ability to make ropes stand up straight to help with the other Thieves' raids and robberies. He was among the Thieves who were persuaded by Sa'luk to turn on King Cassim, and subsequently drowned with the other traitors when the Hand of Midas was used to turn their boat to gold.
