Francine "Fanny" Cottontail is a female anthropomorphic rabbit and a former love interest of Oswald Rabbit.
Behind the scenes[]
Fanny was created as Oswald's first love interest, but was eventually replaced by Ortensia.
Curiously, Universal would later use the name Fanny for a separate character, this version being depicted as Oswald's younger sister.
She was briefly considered for inclusion in Epic Mickey, but was dropped in favor of Ortensia once again.
