Behind the scenes[]
Fanny only ever appeared in the Universal cartoon The Candy House in 1934. Curiously, she was the second Oswald-associated female rabbit to be named Fanny, after Fanny Cottontail. They can be presumed to be different characters, however, due to the original Fanny having been depicted as Oswald's love interest, while this Fanny is stated to be his sister. Furthermore, while Fanny Cottontail was depicted as an adult, this Fanny was shown to be a young child considerably smaller than Oswald.
