NonDisney Father François (le Père François in the original French) is or was a human man.

Father François was a puppeteer from 1930's Brussels, whose puppet-shows focused on the popular puppet Tchanchet. In 1938, Spirou helped him save his business from bankruptcy, and, in thanks, François added a puppet version of Spirou to his regular cast.

Behind the scenesEdit

Father François appears in the 1938 comic Spirou Meets Tchanchet. Being a Spirou character, he does not belong to the Walt Disney Company, although Spirou is considered canon on this wiki.
