Description[]
By 1957, this ordinary man lived in a comfortable suburban house on what had once been a deserted treasure-island off the coast of Calisota. When Yellow Beak, Donald Duck and Scrooge McDuck informed him that a pirate chest was buried right beneath his living room, he let them dig up his floor in exchange for a promise of a share of the treasure. However, the treasure turned out to be a chest full of an old brand of sea crackers, beloved of old pirates everywhere — as opposed to actual gold. The irate Desert Island Dweller, who had come back to Duckburg to witness the opening of the chest, thus ended up joining Scrooge McDuck and the Beagle Boys in chasing after Yellow Beak and Donald Duck in a vengeful rage.
