Goose Egg County is one of the neighbouring counties to Duck County, where Duckburg is located. In 1958, the Little Helper successfully chased Old Blackie away from Gyro Gearloose's strawberry patch and to this county.

Goose Egg County's name appears on a sign in the 1958 story Getting Thor. It is probable, though unconfirmed, that Duckburg's neighboring rival city of Goosetown is located in Goose Egg County.
