Mickey's Birthdayland was a toy set released as McDonald's "Happy Meal" extras in 1988. The five toys featured Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Donald Duck and Pluto.

- The visual of Donald Duck in a train engineer's hat, and his ensuing association with a train, was likely inspired by the Donald Duck carton Out of Scale (1951).
- This release tied in with the opening of the Mickey's Birthdayland (1988) themed land at Walt Disney World, and more generally with the celebrations of the 60th anniversary of Mickey Mouse's debut. Each package for the toy cars advertised the Disney Parks attraction.
