Louie is the owner and operator of Louie's Place, a club located on an island not far from Cape Suzette. He is also a longtime friend of Baloo's, though Baloo's tardiness in paying his tab and their mutual competitiveness occasionally come between them.
Behind the scenes[]
Louie is a recurring character in TaleSpin, beginning with the series premier "Plunder and Lightning." Like Captain Baloo and Shere Khan, he is a reimagining of a character from Disney's The Jungle Book, specifically King Louie. Like Baloo, the physical changes to this version amount mainly to wearing clothes.
