The Golden Crown, or Golden Helmet, is a crown made of solid gold.
Description[]
The most important artifact of the Quanchos people, the Golden Crown, sculpted to resemble a crown made out of bananas, though it is in fact made of heavy gold, is the marker of the Qualani's power. To the distress of the Qualanis themselves, it is a literal burden to bear; hence, traditionally, an aging Qualani must pass it on to her successor when she becomes too physically weak to bear it.
Behind the scenes[]
The Golden Crown is central to the events of the 1978 story Captured in Bananaland.
