Guglielmo Marconi was a presumably-human man.

Description[]

Guglielmo Marconi was, by 1952, recognized as one of History's great inventors. Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck mentioned him alongside Alexander Graham Bell and Thomas Edison as individuals who had started out being mocked for their crackpot theory, but whose inventions had changed the world, when they were trying to convince Donald Duck that Gyro Gearloose deserved more appreciation than he got for his Think Boxes. In the 2017 Continuum, Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera used his name as an oath.

Behind the scenes[]

The Historical Marconi

The historical Marconi.

Marconi was mentioned in the 1952 Carl Barks story Ray's A Riot. Unlike Edison and Bell, he is not known by this Wiki to have appeared in the flesh in any subsequent stories.

Historically, Guglielmo Marconi was an Italian inventor who perfected the modern radio. Although the mention of Marconi in Ray's A Riot gives no such details, it can be assumed that this is also the claim to fame of his Prime Universe counterpart.
