Gyro's Lab, also known as Gyro's Workshop, is a shack located on a hill in Duckburg.
Description[]
The home and workspace of whiz inventor Gyro Gearloose, Gyro's Lab is, as a building, little more than a shack, rebuilt many times over the years after failed experiments destroyed or damaged it. Seemingly including only one room, the very much lived-in Lab and its surrounding yard are perpetually crowded with past inventions and spare parts, most of them labeled as "Patent #[X]" or "Patent Rejected". One of Gyro's few concessions to a working business model, a huge sign advertising “Gyro Gearloose — Inventor of Anything” (or similar slogans) sits in the front yard.
Behind the scenes[]
Gyro's Lab was first seen in the 1953 Carl Barks story The Quizzy Fizzy, although it had yet to settle into its familiar design at the time.
