Honey Formula 32 is a substance invented by Gyro Gearloose.
Description[edit | edit source]
Honey Formula 32 was developed by Gyro Gearloose in an attempt to make use of houseflies by turning them into honeybees. While visiting Gyro to get her toaster fix, however, Daisy Duck confused the honey-like substance for actual honey and made the mistake of tasting it. As a result, it came to light that the Formula could transform any and everything into bees, not just houseflies.
As a bee, Daisy retained a scaled-down version of her regular face, but had otherwise become a convincing bee (convincing enough, at any rate, than a local hive tried to make her their new Queen), and was able to partake in bees' telepathic mode of communication with ease. Upon realizing what had happened, Gyro quickly synthesized a cure for the effects of the Formula, which was to be dripped over the "bee" and took effect instantly, though at the cost of leaving the target feeling drained.
Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
Honey Formula 32 is central to the 2000 comic story To Bee Or Not To Bee.
