The Hudson Hornet Commercials are a series of three animated commercials produced by Disney in 1955, featuring some of their recurring characters (in simplified designs overseen by Tom Oreb) advertising the new car Hudson Hornet Wasp Rambler and its long springs. The three commercials feature Donald Duck, Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck, Alice Liddell, the White Rabbit, Pinocchio, Gepetto and Jiminy Cricket as well as a live-action narrator and salesman.

Donald Duck Commcercial[]
Donald Duck attempts to explain why the Hudson is superior to other cars to his nephews, but his unintelligible quacks are interrupted by the live-action salesman who explains the advantages of the Hudson instead. The camera then cuts to Donald travelling an extremely bumpy ride on a country road, to better contrast with the Hudson's smoother drive.
Alice Commercial[]
The White Rabbit drives Alice along a very curvy road, and Alice complains that the shaking of the car is making her tummy hurt. The Rabbit dismisses her complaints as the product of her imagination, but the camera then cuts to the live-action salesman explaining that Alice and the Rabbit wouldn't be in this situation if they'd purchased a Hudson Wasp Rambler and goes on to advertise the product in question.
Pinocchio Commercial[]
Pinocchio and Gepetto are both suffering from a heat wave when Jiminy Cricket arrives, obviously fresh and unbothered by the heat. When asked, he explains that he was just driving a Hudson Hornet Rambler and that its cooling system is optimal even at such terrible heats. The camera then cuts to the salesman who advertises the car as expected.
Behind the scenes[]
Many of the shorts were aired together with certain episodes of Disneyland in 1955. They are comparable to the Nash Commercials, which also feature Disney characters redesigned by Tom Oreb and were released around the same time. The "Captain Hook" episode of the Peter Pan Peanut Butter Commercials is also in the same vein.
