Infamous Ancestors is a comic page written by Bill Walsh, penciled by Floyd Gottfredson and Paul Murry, and inked by Dick Moores. It features Mickey Mouse and, in their debuts, Dick Mouse, Long John Mouse and Tex Mouse.
Plot[]
Mickey Mouse looks into his family history but discovers with dismay that a lot of his ancestors were scoundrels and rascals of the worst sort.
Behind the scenes[]
Infamous Ancestors was first printed in 1945 in various American newspapers. It was reprinted in Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #105, and, of course, in the Floyd Gottfredson Library.
For unknwon reason, Paul Murry penciled the policeman who appears in the last panel, whereas the rest of the strip is the work of Floyd Gottfredson.
