Description[]
A quaint German city that is sometimes the stage of immense storms, Ingolstadt was, in the 18th and 19th centuries, most notable for its university of arts and science, where Scrooge von Duck, and later his nephew Victor von Duckenstein, studied in their days. Though it had a reputation as a stern and humorless place, Ingolstadt University was actually home to at least two good-natured, eccentric, art-friendly scholars, Professor Waldrake and Dr Gyrempe.

Ingolstadt appears in the 2016 story Duckenstein. It should come as no surprise that it is the Disney version of the real-life Ingolstadt, seen through the prism of its appearance in Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, on which Duckenstein is based.
